Seniors are invited to wear their cap and gown and do one last walk though the halls of your elementary school.

• Sign-up is required to participate
• Seniors must be in good standing to attend (academic and discipline).
• Seniors must provide their own transportation.

• If you are late to graduation you may not walk. plan for traffic and aim to arrive early.

• Strict Rules/Policies for Graduation:
  • Only ONE key/fob allowed
  • NO PHONES permitted
  • Provide your own transportation 

Dress Code:

GIRLS

• Dark shoes (black or navy ONLY)
• Dress must be hidden by the gown. Your dress cannot hang below your gown.

BOYS

• Dark dress pants (black or navy ONLY)
• Dark shoes (black or navy ONLY)
• White button down shirt

REGALIA

• Only approved cords and stoles allowed.

Location: Seckinger High School Commons

• All FINES must be paid by graduation practice in order to receive graduation tickets.
• Extra tickets will be delivered at the end of graduation practice.
  • Each student will receive 10 graduation tickets.
• You MUST be in attendance at Graduation Practice in order to walk at graduation.

Honor's Night will be held on Tuesday, May 12th at 6:00PM in the Main Gym.

Academic Honors Night will be by invitation only. Invitations will be sent the week of April 13th.

• Seniors who have a GPA of 90 or above (this is NOT rounded)
• Any senior receiving an honor stole, cord, medal, as well as class awards, community service recognition and scholarship announcements.

Marching Order will become available to students at the beginning of second semester.

Marching order is a new program that will be used by all Gwinnett County Public Schools for Graduation. This program will be utilized to read student names at the Graduation Ceremony.

Please note that Marching Order is required for all students to complete in order to graduate. Failure to complete may result in a student not being able to participate in the ceremony.

Memory Boards will be distributed during all lunches on March 26 & March 27

What do you do with memory boards?

Decorate them! Be sure to add your favorite pictures highlighting your high school memories and younger years. 

• All photos must be school appropriate and follow dress code expectations.
• Only memory boards provided by Seckinger High School will be accepted.
• Please place four command hooks on the back of your board to be hung on the wall.

Memory Boards are due April 13 - 17.

• Any boards turned in after April 17th may no be placed on display.
• Memory Boards will be returned at the conclusion of graduation practice.

All seniors must schedule their senior yearbook photos through CADY Studios by visiting their website. Click here to schedule your senior photos now. 

• Packages are available at multiple price points.

• Photos must be taken by October 17, 2025 to be included in the 2025-2026 yearbook, receive a student ID, and be included in the senior photo slideshow used at graduation.

• CADY Studios is the only approved photographer for formal portraits at Seckinger High School. Only photos taken by CADY Studios by October 17, 2025 will be included in the yearbook and senior slideshow.

Senior dues pay for your student's high school diploma, diploma cover, graduation program, the costs for graduation, memory boards, and other senior events and activities (which will occur throughout the 2025-2026 school year).

Dates to keep in mind regarding Senior Dues:

• Dues will increase by $25 on February 1, 2026.
• Orders must be placed by February 28, 2026 to receive the custom SKG senior t-shirt.

Senior letters must be received no later than April 3rd, 2026.

Who can write letters to my senior?

• Parents/Guardian, siblings, grandparents, extended family, friends, coaches, teachers, mentors, or anyone who has supported your senior achieving this milestone.

How do I get my letters to Seckinger High School? 

• Place it in an envelope with the student’s legal first and last name.
  • Please note that students may not receive letters if nicknames are used.
  • There must be no other contents envelopes.
• You may drop your letter off at Seckinger in the Main Office (front of the building), Attendance Office (back of the building), OR mail your letters to:

Senior Sunset will be held on Tuesday, May 19th on the Football Field.

Watch the sunset on your high school experience with your classmates. We will have frisbees, footballs, music, a sweet treat and some fun glow in the dark things as you say goodbye to SKG.

Time: 6:30 to 9:00pm

Senior Week will be held April 20 - 24th.

• Senior Week themes will be voted on during the March Class Meeting.
• Friday: Senior Breakfast, Senior Letter Distribution, and Senior Carnival.
  • Please note that the Senior Breakfast and Senior Carnival are only for seniors who have paid their dues.

Senior Walk will be held on Friday, May 1st.

• Seniors will walk through Seckinger High School for a final time.
• Cap and gown are required to participate
• Parents are invited to attend and watch the Senior Walk at Seckinger High Schoool.
